# Registering for a Replicate Account

The Replicate - AI & ML Models plugin is built on top of [replicate.com](https://replicate.com/). Replicate allows you you to run a range of AI/Machine Learning via their API.

In order to use the plugin, you'll need to:

* Register for a Replicate account (you can do so a [this link](https://replicate.com/signin?next=/))
  * To do this you'll first need to register for a Github account ([link](https://github.com/join))
* Once you've registered for a Replicate account you'll have access to a dashboard
* **Replicate is a paid service** - you'll need to add your credit/debit card details by going to the "Billing" section of your dashboard and clicking on "Manage Billing"
