# Adding a single marker

You can add a single marker to your Mapbox Map using the '**Add Single Marker To A Mapbox Map**' action. This action has the same fields as the '[**Add List of Markers to A Map**](/beautiful-maps-mapbox/loading-markers/adding-multiple-markers.md)' action.

You can run this action page load (so that the markers will appear on the map almost instantly) or based on another event (like a button click - see the below GIF for an example).
