Key features

The Stripe Connect - Marketplace plugin simplifies the payments aspect of running a digital marketplace. Here are some of the key things you can do with the plugin:

  • Onboard sellers and allow them to create their own Stripe Express accounts on your platform

  • Split one-off payments between your platform and sellers

  • Give merchants access to their own Stripe Dashboard

  • Allow merchants to set their own payout schedule (daily, weekly, monthly)

  • Refund customers who transact with your platform

  • Split subscription payments between your platform and sellers

  • Allow customers to cancel subscriptions via the Stripe Billing Portal

  • Delayed payments (useful for services marketplaces like Fiverr/Upwork)

  • Invoices

You can read about how to implement all of these features in the 'Implementing Key Features' section of the documentation.
